THE GLUTTONY

(for temperance in our health; meals)

He feels a little pain in the stomach,

He never cares to ask whence it from,

He runs to the market, runs all the way,

And buys all types of food.

He doesn’t have the hunger to eat,

But he eats anyway,

And now feels very exhausted,

Eating to get tired?

To him that is the case.

The last time he went to the doctor,

And the doctor asked Him,

“You do meat and alcohol?”

He proudly said yes,

And then came the nightmare,

“You have to do away with them,”

He felt like collapsing but became faithful,

Did away with the meat, said bye to the bottle;

Call him a reformer, not bad i bet.

Today he eats and eats and eats,

Because to him, this other foods are healthy,

And to that effect, his philosophy is eat till tired.

I bit his digestive system, it groans in pain,

And all he does is to give it more problems,

And their comes no difference,

Between the former drunkard and the current gluttony.
