A TOKEN OF APPRECIATION.

Time is like magic,

It has moved at the deserved pace,

To make us appreciate how far we have come,

How long since we first met.

You swiftly swept me off my feet,

Swayed me in air, and made me see,

See the greatness in you,

The virtousness you uphold,

The lovely care you cherish,

And the beauty that comes from inside you.

Maybe by words it can not be said fully,

But by writing, I pour my heart out,

And pen my mind.

This far, thanks to the Almighty God,

For the cause of our meeting.

As mornings come and age with time,

Also do I wish, also do I aspire,

To age together with the seasons,

Count the decades gone past,

And say, “it has been a test of time,”

A test well passed.

Thanks for the love, care and appreciation,

Thanks for everything.
