ANCIENT CHRISTIANITY; NOT ANYMORE.
There walks the “converts,”
Tucked under their armpits,
Are the holy books for “church service.”
On the other hand are bags full of all kinds of cologne,
Bags full of false images of those bearing them.
Shallow clothes up to an inch below the secluded parts,
Is the new dress style to church.
Clothes too tight to the body,
And ‘sexy’ trousers are the dress codes for the “service.”
And their mouths spit fire, hatred, and strong venom than that of a python’
Singing “Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Heavenward we walk,”
Surely “heavenward” they walk,
For many perish because of lack of knowledge,
Believing that carrying the holy book,
Is having the true image of its teachings.
When people are more interested on how they will be seen,
Rather than what they do,
Has completely furnished the true image of Christianity,
Then how do they follow the “primitive” outdated style.
As the truth bites stronger and painfully than a sharp needle,
Will the true word be,
People will learn to accept the truth after being pierced,
And will gnash their teeth against that same truth.
We get too old very soon and gain wisdom very late,
When age and times, just like vanity are long gone,
Just too bad.
End.
